Hi there, I have just got hold of my sldz and tried to install the new firmware, I have formatted the sd card with the technics copied files across and I.m still sat here with a blinking cue3 light. I take it its supposed to flash for a while? Its 256mb card which i have just copied the files straight to really struggling now though please help...thanks

You need to read the firmware topic thread very carefully. The sd card you have will not work. Please go back and ensure you understand all the steps. If you still have questions, just let us know and we can try and help as best we can.

It still doesn't work by me, only the 3 led's keep flash , doesn't install the 2.3 version

the topic reader wrote copy files to root directory , how i do that ? and have i unzip it and than to SD card or what. I loosing my patient

Understand we here have no affiliation with Panasonic/Technics. Everything in this forum is based off trial and error from fellow users. I received the firmware update years ago with those specific instructions for installation. As I mentioned before, ensure you read the thread carefully. Usually what people fail to realize is you have to format the sd card in the DZ or they have too large of a SD card for the installation. I feel your pain, but there is nothing else we can do since we are miles and miles apart.

What size SD are you using?  Can't use anything over 32MB for the update although you can use up to 1GB for music purposes.
