My DZ1200s worked fine til yesterday when I went to power one up and all it did was come on.  The lcd screen is just blue with no read out.  I tried to reset the unit but that doesn't seem to be working.  The number one cue pad indicator is flashing; the free wheel indicator is lit, and the reset and range indicators work - but that's it.  Also, it will not allow me to insert a cd.  Can someone please help.

Wow I've never heard of this either. I would try and contact a repair center. Until then keep trying to get it to reset. Is your DZ plugged directly to a power source or through a power strip. If it is on a power strip maybe try plugging it directly to the wall outlet and try and reset that way.

Try hlding down execute and sample three, this will take you into the self diagnostics screens where you can test leds, lcd etc. just them down until the screen comes up and I think the inialise is on page 7 or so. may work??
